Is providing my email address mandatory for registration?
Yes, a valid email address is required for registration on English Lady. Here’s why:

- Order updates: We’ll keep you informed about your order status, including confirmation, shipping details, and any important updates through emails

- We currently ship in Pan India
How long will it take to receive my order?
- Processing time for orders is typically 2-4 working days
- Shipping time depends on your location and the chosen shipping method. You can find estimated delivery times at checkout we take 0-7 working days to receive your order
- Sometimes, delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, unexpected travel delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions or any political disruptions or strikes. We promise to keep you updated at every step
- Can I book an order for delivery to more than one address?
- No. You will need to place separate orders for different shipping addresses
- What if I am not available when the order is delivered?
As a policy, our courier partners will always call you before delivery to check your availability. However, in case the order arrives when you are not available, it will be re-dispatched after your confirmation.
Our delivery partner will get in touch with you to reschedule your delivery. A maximum of three attempts will be made to deliver order at the given shipping address, failing which the order will be sent back to our warehouse facility in Bangalore. Our Customer Care Team will then get in touch with you to understand the issue and help find a solution.
How do I place an order?

- Review your order and select your preferred shipping method
- Choose your payment method and complete your purchase
Can I modify my order once it is placed?
- Unfortunately, we cannot modify orders once they are placed. However, you can cancel your order if it has not yet been shipped by contacting customer care immediately
What if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
- In an unlikely event that the product you received is a damaged or incorrect item. Please contact customer care immediately and we will be happy to assist you
What is your return policy?
- We accept returns for unworn, unwashed, and unaltered dresses with tags attached within 15 business days of delivery
- Some items may be excluded from returns, so please check the product description for details
How do I return an item?
- To initiate a return, please contact customer care and we will provide you with instructions
- You will be responsible for the return shipping costs if the product is not defected
How will I receive my refund?
- Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 6Â working days
Can I exchange an item?
- Unfortunately, we do not offer direct exchanges at this time. However, you can return your unwanted item and place a new order for the desired item

- Cash on Delivery (COD) Service
Yes, we offer Cash on Delivery services at select locations. To confirm if COD is available in your area, please enter your PIN code on the checkout page
- Transaction Failure with Payment Gateway Error
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the payment gateway error. This might be due to a technical issue. Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact our Customer Care Team for assistance in completing your order. If the amount was deducted before the order was completed, please contact your bank for a transaction reversal
- Reporting Suspicious Activity During Payment
If you notice any suspicious activity during payment, please abort the transaction and inform our Customer Care Team immediately. You should also contact your bank to ensure the security of your account
- Compromised Credit/Debit Card Information
We do not store or retain any of your credit card information. If you suspect your information has been compromised, please contact your bank immediately
